Almost all of the objects you touched today had to be delivered by truck. We see them on our daily commutes, stocking food at the grocery store, delivering medicine to hospitals and refilling our gas stations. In the US, we have a just-in-time inventory system. This means that food, lifesaving medicines, fuel and other merchandise are delivered right before they are needed. What happens when there is a delay? You may have experienced delays due to weather events and emergencies, but did you know that trucks have computers? What are the cyber security threats to heavy vehicles? Could malicious attacks impact delivery of vital goods?
