Michael Starks, CISSP, CISA
Michael Starks is an information security professional with more than fifteen years of experience in the industry. He is an ISSA Fellow, serves on the International Ethics Committee and has written several articles on ethics and privacy for ISSA Journal.
When not writing, speaking, tweeting or otherwise geeking out, Michael enjoys semi-futile attempts at gardening, science fiction and really bad jokes.
Sean Inman, CISSP
Sean Inman currently serves as the Sr. Manager of Information Security & Compliance for Pier 1 Imports and is CISSP and SAFe Agilist (SA) certified. He is responsible for compliance, security policies and procedures, security awareness, security architecture and security operations.
Sean has worked in the IT industry for more than 15 years with 12 years being focusing on Information Security. During this time, he has held positions within Retail, Government Contracting, and IT Consulting.
He enjoys watching sports (baseball, basketball and football). He has a blog where you will find articles related to IT Security and several interesting topics, including: cooking; specifically, smoking, and barbecue.
Lauren currently serves as Managing Partner for FWT Consulting, an IT Consulting company for Fortune 100 and 500 brands in the Metroplex. She has worked in Fort Worth for 13 years and loves the energy of this city!
Lauren has participated within our local ISSA chapter for many years and recently joined the 2017 Boards of the Fort Worth Chapter of ISSA and Tarrant County SAS Users Group.
In her spare time, she enjoys chasing after her 4 year-old old son, traveling and staying active.
Andy Stokes, CISSP, CISA
Andy Stokes is one of the founding members of the Fort Worth Chapter. He has served the chapter as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Andy has been in Information Security for over 15 years and has worked in Aerospace & Defense, Insurance, Telecom, and Financial Services. He has experience in IT Audit, computer forensics and computer investigations, certification and accreditation, physical security, vulnerability scanning and remediation, and information security risk assessment. When he is not working, Andy is a volunteer adult leader with the Boy Scouts, likes to cook, ride his bicycle, run 10k and half-marathons, and ride roller coasters.
Matt Fager, CISSP
Matt Fager has been involved in IT since 1992 with a focus on security since 1997. He has infiltrated various market segments to include government, finance, health care, higher education and retail. He is also an active member in numerous DFW security user groups and has been an ISSA lurker since early/mid 2000’s.
