Senthi Lakshmanan, CCSP, has 22 years of practice as an IT expert. He is working as Director, Cloud Security Architecture, Enterprise Cloud Computing of Fidelity Investments. He is currently responsible for implementing container security on standalone and orchestration platforms. Prior to Fidelity Senthi served in a variety of technical and management roles within Verizon.
Outside of the IT world Senthi enjoys hiking, playing cricket and volunteering.
Andrea Baker is an IT Manager with more than 9 years of experience in the information technology field. She currently provides audit and security services for public and private companies, with a focus on Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. She also leads engagements pertaining to FFIEC Cybersecurity Assessment Tool, CCPA, ISO/IEC 27000, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Andrea has worked with clients from several industries, including, energy, retail, healthcare, education, technology, banking, and financial services.
Prior to her current role, she worked as an IT risk manager for a Fortune 50 financial service company. She is also a combat veteran with 4 years of experience performing IT operations for the U.S. Navy. Andrea earned her B.S. in Biology from Virginia Wesleyan College and holds the following certifications: CISA, CISM, CCSK v4, and ITIL v3.
Derek Boyd, CISSP
Derek Boyd has a broad knowledge of IT operational support and information security risk over the last 15 years. Experience includes 1st to 3rd level support of business infrastructure, endpoints, and applications.
The last 9 years, have focused primarily on cybersecurity operations work supporting network/host security, content/countermeasures, policy controls, and vulnerability/threat management. Derek’s educational background consists of a BA in English from Texas Tech University, MBA from University of Dallas, and he has accomplished ISC2 CISSP certification.
Eric Lankford is a cybersecurity engineer with more than twenty years of experience. His background consists of working with many different verticals including banking/financial, multinational retailer, multinational pharmaceutical, multinational chemical manufacturing, state and local government and higher education. Eric is a CEH, CCSA, CSCS and is currently a member of the MS-ISAC Business Resiliency Working Group.
Michael Starks, CISSP, CISA
Michael Starks is an information security professional with more than seventeen years of experience. His history with ISSA begins in 2006 as a founding member of the Rochester, NY Chapter. Having held several board positions over the years, he now serves as Treasurer of the Fort Worth, Texas chapter. He is an ISSA Fellow, a member of the International Ethics Committee and has written several articles on ethics and privacy for ISSA Journal.
When not writing, speaking, tweeting or otherwise geeking out, Michael enjoys semi-futile attempts at gardening, science fiction and really bad jokes.
Steve Horstman, CISSP
Steve Horstman, CISSP, has 25 years of experience as an IT professional. Since 2003 he has been leading IT risk management teams in the financial industry. He is currently responsible for the Cybersecurity team at TPG Global in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to TPG Steve served in a variety of leadership roles within Goldman Sachs’ Technology Risk Department.
Outside of the computing realm Steve enjoys hiking and travel.
Kevin joined GDT in December of 2018. He has a strong background in Security, focusing on building out cyber security programs from multiple different maturity levels. Kevin has spent his entire career working for large cyber security manufacturers. He has experience working with fortune 5000 customers and working alongside CIO, CISO, and the Cyber Security practice managers to build, mature, and consume Cyber security tools. He was a Named Account Manager for Splunk and Check Point Software for the past 7 years prior to joining GDT. Kevin has also been a member for the Fort Worth ISSA Group, and many other associations. He can assist with strategic security discussions helping customers architect and build their security programs to their current maturity level.
Kevin is a resident of Tarrant County and has a personal vendetta to bring more Cyber-security thought leadership and activity to Fort Worth. When not working on driving the Cyber community in Fort Worth, he enjoys trying to be a golfer, and being a very amateur BBQ’er! He lives in Fort Worth with his wife of 6 years and their nearly 2 yr old daughter Claire.
