Michael Starks, CISSP, CISA
Michael Starks is an information security professional with more than seventeen years of experience. His history with ISSA begins in 2006 as a founding member of the Rochester, NY Chapter. Having held several board positions over the years, he now serves as President of the Fort Worth, Texas chapter. He is an ISSA Fellow, a member of the International Ethics Committee and has written several articles on ethics and privacy for ISSA Journal.
When not writing, speaking, tweeting or otherwise geeking out, Michael enjoys semi-futile attempts at gardening, science fiction and really bad jokes.
Kelly Hammons is the CEO and VP of Customer Success for Secutor. Kelly has been in IT and cybersecurity for 24 years, and created the Secutor Signature Vulnerability Management system which places special emphasis on using network security architecture to identify critical attack vectors and prioritize vulnerability remediation.
Kelly has been involved with the ISSA since 2010 and a CISSP since 2013.
In his spare time Kelly enjoys spending time with his family, flying, scuba diving, and fencing.
Steve Horstman, CISSP
Steve Horstman, CISSP, has 25 years of experience as an IT professional. Since 2003 he has been leading IT risk management teams in the financial industry. He is currently responsible for the Cybersecurity team at TPG Global in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to TPG Steve served in a variety of leadership roles within Goldman Sachs’ Technology Risk Department.
Outside of the computing realm Steve enjoys hiking and travel.
Lauren currently serves as Managing Partner for FWT Consulting, an IT Consulting company for Fortune 100 and 500 brands in the Metroplex. She has worked in Fort Worth for 13 years and loves the energy of this city!
Lauren has participated within our local ISSA chapter for many years and recently joined the 2017 Boards of the Fort Worth Chapter of ISSA and Tarrant County SAS Users Group.
In her spare time, she enjoys chasing after her 4 year-old old son, traveling and staying active.
Paul L. Kendall, Ph.D.
Dr. Paul Kendall has over 40 years’ experience in the Computer and Information Security profession. He is currently an Advisory Services Principal in the Risk and Compliance practice at Accudata Systems in Dallas, Texas. He has formerly served as Director of Information Security and Compliance for a financial services company in Fort Worth, TX, Senior Manager for Accenture, LLP’s Global Security Practice, Chief Information Security Officer for AmeriCredit Corporation in Fort Worth, Texas, Chief Security Architect for Compaq Computer Corporation, and Global Security Director for Air Liquide S.A. in Paris, France.
